A well organised event by Stephensons saw a group of us take SRM7 (RM1871) back to Southend after 20 years since it started to operate for Southend Transport
Small gathering of vehicles at the Royal Forest Hotel and Timebus latest addition to the fleet, RML2442 on its first day back on the streets of London since July 2004 when it finished on the last day of route 7
Another excellent running day based from the bus station in Hertford. Its a shame it clashed with other events although im glad i decided to stay local and visit the Hertford event.
Its just over 10 years since route 139 went OPO. In recognition of this and the fact that they own the last Routemaster to run on the route (RM29). Timebus organised a running day with RM29 and RML2310 which also used to operate on the 139. The buses ran the full route from Trafalgar Square to West Hampstead.
Currently a driver with Freightliner. Have been in the railway industry for over 22 years.Im also a part time bus driver driving heritage vehicles for Timebus in London and the surrounding area.
